A SOAP-based Infrastructure for Service Broker
نویسنده
چکیده
As Web service becomes pervasive, the importance of scripting capability for connecting distributed components leads to a new XML technology, SOAP. Although SOAP is ready to use in B2B situations, some underlying infrastructure should resolve two issues; exploring parallelism and script customization. We adopt both the SOAP and mobile agent technologies and test the idea with Apache SOAP server.

Dynamic Inter-Enterprise Workflow Management in a Constraint-Based E-Service Infrastructure
This paper presents an infrastructure and a mechanism for achieving dynamic Inter-enterprise workflow management using e-services provided by collaborative e-business enterprises. E-services are distributed services that can be accessed programmatically on the Internet, using SOAP messages and the HTTP protocol. In this work, we categorize e-services according to their business types and manage...
متن کاملEfficiency of Soap Versus JMS
Parallel application programmers and software engineers have a variety of paradigms at their disposal. Some of the tools include traditional environments such as Parallel Virtual Machine (PVM) and Message Passing Interface (MPI). Tools that are more modern involve the World Wide Web, including Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) [1], Java Messaging Service (JMS) [2], Common Object Request Brok...
متن کاملAn Efficient Web Service Discovery Architecture
There is been a continuous effort by the software developers to reduce cost and time to deliver the software and this has led to the advancements in service oriented paradigm. Organizations across all spectra have already deployed their main operations to the Web, which has brought about a fast growth of various Web services. This has dramatically increased the need to build a fundamental infra...
متن کاملEnhancing SOAP Performance by achieving Service Differentiation and Predictability
Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) based web services have become a widely used middleware for heterogeneous distributed systems over the years. Although the driving factor of its popularity has been the simple text based nature of eXtensible Markup Languge (XML) SOAP, the same reason has resulted web services being overlooked for certain classes of applications. To this date, binary based mi...
متن کاملMIT Device Simulation Weblab: An Online Simulator For Microelectronics Education
The WeblabSim system uses a three-tier design based on the iLab Shared Architecture (Figure 1). It consists of a client applet that lets users configure simulations, a laboratory server that runs them, and a generic service broker that mediates between the two through SOAP-based web services. We have implemented a graphical Java client applet, based on the client used by the MIT Microelectronic...
